Tijuana, Mexico - Former champion Antonio Margarito trains side by side with close friend and popular female fighter Jackie Nava, who returns on October 8th in Tijuana against Soledad Matthysse. September 17th wasn’t exactly the proudest night of Victor Ortiz’s young career. In a scene that has been well-documented, Ortiz would suffer an unexpected loss at the hands of Floyd Mayweather Jr. inside of the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, losing his prized WBC welterweight crown in the process.

Former champion Antonio Margarito is not worried about Miguel Cotto's promise for a "different ending" on December 3rd at New York's Madison Square Garden. WBA 154-pound champion Miguel Cotto has a very good reason for selecting Antonio Magarito for his December 3rd return at New York's Madison Square Garden. Revenge is only a partial factor, with Margarito handing Cotto the first loss of his career, by TKO in eleven, in July 2008.
