Negotiations to finalize the bout between Luis Concepcion (28-3, 21KOs) and Nestor Daniel Narvaez of Argentina is quite advanced, according to legal adviser Rogelio Espiño. Concepcion will make the first defense of his WBC silver flyweight title at the end of July in Panama. Nestor is the younger brother of WBO super flyweight champion Omar Narvaez.

'The negotiations are well under way, hopefully it will be resolved in the course of the week, "said Espiño.

Narvaez is classified in the fifth ranked position and has a professional record of 19 wins, one loss, two draws and 9 fights before the limit. In his last fight, the Argentine fighter lost a majority decision to former world champion Toshiyuki Igarashi of Japan.

Editor's Note: The fight is heading to August 3.
