Concepcion-Hernandez WBC Clash Draws Closer

The opportunity for a second WBC Silver title is beaconing Luis “Nica” Concepcion from Panama. This time conceptual chance is in the super flyweight division. Concepcion's promoter, Rogelio Espiño confirmed that the Colombian mentor of Duran Hernandez , Andy Espinosa, who is also the president of the Sinubox del Caribe Promotions, has verbally acceptedthat the bout between both will be in Panama in August.

“He said yes, we are now expecting him to send us the signed contract,” explained Espiño.

The Colombian promotions company was interested in organizing the fight in Colombia, but Promociones y Eventos del Istmo, representing the  Panamanian boxer, presented a counter offer to clinch it for Panama.  Espiño said that the WBC has already approved this fight for the Silver title.

Concepcion, aged 28, has a record of 31 wins (22 KO) and 3 losses.  Colombian Duran Hernandez, has 12 wins (9 KO), 1 draw and 1 loss.
Cnocepcion is fun to watch not sure about this guy though. If it's for a WBC belt wonder if he gets a crack at Cuadras or even better maybe an Srisaket now that would be fun while it lasted.
Yeahhh!…
