CompuBox takes a detailed look at the first two fights involving Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez. The two boxers fought in 2004 and 2008, with a twelve round draw in the first meeting, and Pacquiao winning a close split decision in the rematch. They clash later tonight, for the third time, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Marquez outlanded Pacquiao 330-305 in total punches and 252-214 in power punches in their two fights. In the 24 rounds fought, Marquez landed more total punches in 12 rounds to 9 rounds for Manny, with 3 rounds even in connects. In his las 7 fights, Pacquiao has averaged 79 punches thrown/27 landed and has landed 48% of his power shots. In his last 5 fights (minus Mayweather), Marquez has averaged 61 thrown/26 landed and landed 50% of his power shots.
