CompuBox Stats: Dawson Landed 59% of His Power Shots

In a battle of former light heavyweight champion in Montreal, Chad Dawson was the more consistent puncher throughout the fight- although Adrian Diaconu had his singular moments. Dawson landed 59% of his power shots, but never had Diaconu on the verge of a stoppage.

Chad did show that the fundamentals are still there and Manny can make him a more composed and polished fighter. He isn't going to kayo anyone, anytime soon but he should be able to get the W's. Had Manny trained…

I thought Adrian landed much more than that, he caught Dawson with some heavy shots several times. Nonetheless, great numbers for Dawson.
