CompuBox President Bob Canobbio announced today that CompuBox will donate $5 to the LI Disaster Relief Fund for every landed punch during the HBO telecast of the Antonio Demarco vs. Adrien Broner and Seth Mitchell vs. Jonathan Banks fights this Saturday night in Atlantic City.

“I was born and raised on Long Island and still live here,” said Canobbio.  “I’m very saddened by this tragedy and want to give something back to the good people of Long Island in any way possible.”

Fight fans, promoters, trainers, fighters  and managers wanting to participate can send their contributions—check made out to: 

Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief Fund 
Newsday Charities
Processing Center

if BOTH fights end with one punch knockouts...then what?!?...I can see both fights ending very early....not trying to be negative but if any of them land something sweet EARLY on the other dude's chin, it MIGHT be a wrap drizzle Sandy didn't do as much damage as the media promoted....I guess t...

Its a nice gesture, but it still doesn't seem like that much money to me.
