CompuBox: Klitschko's 3-1 Ratio Incredible in Comeback
CompuBox examines the Vitali Klitschko's seven comeback fights, since returning to boxing in October of 2008 to capture the WBC heavyweight title. Vitali outlanded his seven comeback opponents 1500 to 460 in total punches - better than a 3 to 1 ratio. He averaged 69 punches thrown per round - 50% more than the weight class averge. He threw twice as many jabs as the heavyweight average and landed twice as many. Opponents landed only 7 punches per round.
This is why I say Vitali is the better offensive and defensive fighter over Wlad. Granted Wlad has the better jab and 1 punch KO power. But Vitali is just the all around better fighter.Post a Comment - View More User Comments (1)
