Cleverly-Bellew 2 Targeted For December 6, Sheffield

By Edward Chaykovsky

According to promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport, the grudge match between Tony Bellew 22-2-1 (14 KOs) and Nathan Cleverly 28-1 (14 KOs), which is going to be a cruiserweight title eliminator, is targeted for December 6th in Sheffield. Three years ago, at light heavyweight, Cleverly won a close twelve round majority decision. Since then the war of words have been escalating.

Hearn told BBC Sport: "December 6th in Sheffield now looks like a front-runner," said Hearn. It's a shame there's not an arena big enough in Wales yet for a fight of that magnitude. Nathan is keen, and rightly so, to have it on neutral ground. It's more a case of where it's going to be than if it's going to happen. It's definitely going to happen."

This will be a good fight and probably just as close as the first.

I don't mind a PPV if it's a decent Brook title fight. If its Bundu or something they should just make it normal Sky Sports.

This could mean a top opponent for Brook then, doubtful though as it could jeopardise the Khan fight.Rios for me would be a solid ppv fight,he'd make Brook look awesome too.
