Claudio “The Matrix “ Marrero 13-0-0 (10 KO's) affirms with incisive form, that from now on he is ready to face and to defeat the best, and is ready to attack fighters within the 126 pound weight class and mentions names like Billy Dib, Miguel Acosta and Johnny González to whom he is sure that he will defeat with force.

Marrero FEDELATIN Champion AMB and WBC FECARBOX Champion, is presently classified at #3 in WBA and #12 in WBC. At 23 years old he has incredible hand speed and footwork. And let not forget his elusive boxing style that gave him the name “The Matrix”.  This kid will no doubt win over boxing fans, he is an action/TV fighter.

Marreo amateur experience has helped in the Pro-circuit, in the amateurs he faced rivals such as Guillermo Rigondeau and Javier “El Abejón” Fortuna, whom he defeated twice. He also  beat Robert Marroquín who last October 15 was defeated by the Cuban Rigondeaux. Marroquín, Gary Russell Jr and Adrien Broner names that at present are synonymous of quality in his divisions.

In his last fight, Marrero fought Fernando “ Wary “ Beltrán of México and defeated him after 3 rounds. Immediately after the fight, the Dominican went to Telefutura cameras to express “ I am the best in this category, I am ready for anyone. I am ready to  demonstrate to  the world that I am the best ”

A fight that would turn into a battle, would be against his compatriot “El Abejón” Fortuna, who Marrero defeated twice in the amateurs.

Possibly we will see Marrero on the card “KO to the Drugs” on November 30th in The Bank Atlantic Center (BB&T Center) of Fort Lauderdale in Florida.
