Cintron vs Molina Likely For Rios-Antillon Co-Feature

By Rick Reeno

BoxingScene.com was advised that former champion Kermit Cintron (32-3-1, 28KOs) will likely face hard-as-nails Carlos Molina (18-4-2, 6KOs) in a Showtime televised bout on July 9 at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California. This will be the third fight of the year for Molina, who fought to a controversial ten round draw with Erislandy Lara in March, and then knocked out Allen Conyers in April. Cintron will be making his debut under the Top Rank promotional banner. The main event will feature a lightweight war between WBA champion Brandon Rios, and challenger Urbano Antillon.

Cintrona la puta will ruin the whole card. Have another Mexican, Filipino or Russian in the mix.

It would be good to Cintron get his career back on track, seems like he's been wasting it the last few years.
