Chris Arreola and Paul Williams Looking For Opponents

By Robert Morales

Promoter Dan Goossen advised BoxingScene.com that heavyweight contender Chris Arreola will fight again Nov. 5 in Mexico.

"(Matchmaker) Tom (Brown) is working on an opponent," Goossen said. "We should have something ready to announce on that early next week."

As for Paul Williams, Goossen said he is looking at some time in the first quarter of 2012 for Williams' return after he notched a highly debated majority decision over Erislandy Lara last July. Lara was a southpaw, as was Sergio Martinez, who knocked out Williams in the second round in November 2010.

All Goossen said when asked if he had an opponent in mind for Williams was, "Just a right-hander."

Paul Williams turned down a rematch with Cintron. He also turned down several others. I always knew that jumping up and down in weight was going to fuck him one day.
