Four division world champion Roman 'Chocolatito' Gonzalez (46-0, 38KOs) is hungry to get his hands on a big payday in 2017.

Gonzalez, regarded by many as the best pound for pound fighter in the world, has made it no secret in recent weeks that he believes he's being underpaid and wants to see bigger dollar signs for potential fights against Carlos Cuadras, Naoya Inoue and Juan Francisco Estrada.

Gonzalez was in the ring last month, when he made history by becoming the first Nicaraguan fighter to win four world titles in four weight divisions. He won a twelve round unanimous decision over Carlos Cuadras at The Forum in Los Angeles.

The fight with Cuadras was very close and some even saw it as a draw. Gonzalez is interested in a rematch - if the money is right.

According to Gonzalez, there have been zero conversations at the moment regarding his next opponent.

"It's wonderful to win my fourth title, is not easy, but it's a blessing," said Chocolatito. "There is still nothing [in my next fight], no negotiations, nothing for anyone, there is nothing.

He has no problem with facing Cuadras or Inoue, but feels there should be a certain level of monetary value on those fights. Inoue was ringside when Gonzalez won his fourth crown.

"If they pay well and the rematch [with Cuadras] is offered, there is no problem. We are ready to fight, but they have to pay well. With Cuadras, there has been a lack of negotiations so far, and there has been some talk about Inoue - it 's nice talk about it, but I have to see the money."

Regarding a rematch with Estrada, who Gonzalez won a rematch over in 2012, he is not very interested for the moment.

"I have other plans, there are better opportunities and larger purses. Cuadras showed that he is much more deserving of another chance and I think it would be a fight that's even bigger than the first," Gonzalez added.
