British heavyweight contender Dereck Chisora is very eager to get in the ring with his domestic rival Dillian Whyte. There is some talk of the two fighters colliding in the fall, but Chisora is ready to do it sooner than later.

The two have exchanged a lot of verbal jabs through social media, but their tensions were raised back in May when Chisora crashed a press conference for Whyte's ring return.

Whyte put himself on the map when he gave current IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua his stiffest test last December. Whyte was able to rock Joshua in the second round and made it a real fight until he was knocked out in the seventh. He suffered a shoulder injury during the contest which required surgery.

Whyte (18-1, 14KOs) was last seen in the ring last month when he won a solid decision over David Allen. In his last fight, Chisora (25-6, 17KOs) lost a twelve round split decision to Kubrat Pulev. He is scheduled to return against Drazan Janjanin in Stockholm on September 10.

Whyte is scheduled to return on October 7th at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. He was due to face Sam Sexton, who recently withdrew from the contest.

After Whyte vented on the social networks over Sexton's withdrawal, it was Chisora who immediately started baiting him to accept the showdown on short notice. Chisora feels confident that he will beat Whyte with very few issues.

"Don't worry man, I'll take his place," Chisora said. "Say 'let's do it' and I'll whoop your ass, it's easy. Easy pickings bro, that's it. Tell your boys to holler at my boys and then we'll get it done. Don't worry about Sam, I'll fight you."
