According to Vladimir Hryunov, promoter of Russian/Belarussian heavyweight giant Alexander Ustinov (30-1, 21 KOs), his protégé will fight on July 11 in Manchester, UK, against former BBBofC British, Commonwealth and European champion Dereck “Del Boy” Chisora (20-5, 13 KOs).

“The contract is signed”, said Hryunov to R-Sport.

38-year-old Ustinov, who has been competing under K2 aegis for several years, is 3-0 since suffering his lone loss in the EBU title fight versus Kubrat Pulev, including a sound road shutout of famous New Zealander David Tua. Ustinov was a sparring partner for Del Boy, when the latter was preparing for a fight against Tyson Fury. Ustinov tried to take an inside track to Fury fight, when Chisora got injured, but that bout never happened.

Instead, Fury fought and stopped 31-year old Chisora later in November 2014. That was Chisora’s first loss since going 1-4 from July 2011 till July 2012, with losses to Fury, Robert Helenius, Vitaliy Klitschko and David Haye. Chisora enjoyed a nice comeback in 2013, going 4-0, with 4 KOs.
