Chisora-Fury II: Brough-Catterall Clash is Added On

Top prospects Nathan Brough and Jack Catterall clash in a battle of undefeated prospects on the big Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury undercard on Saturday 26th July at the Phones 4 U Arena in Manchester.

Not only will pride and bragging rights be at stake in the north-west derby, the Vacant Central Area Light-Welterweight title will also be on the line, which will ensure both men put their friendship aside and give the fans an exciting fight.

Brough, from Liverpool, has racked up eleven wins with two knockouts, while Chorley rival Catteral has eight wins with four stoppages.

“This is a great fight at this stage of my career and a win will give me a massive boost,” said Brough.

“We know each other and get on well, but that will have to be put to one side while we’re in the ring and I reckon it’s going to be a right tear up between us, no quarter will be given, I’m coming out of the ring the champion,”

“I’ve sparred a few rounds with him, but that was early in our careers and we’ve both come on since then.  I’m looking forward to seeing what he’s got, but I’m 100 percent confident of dealing with him and winning.”

Catterall added, “We’re both undefeated and there’s a lot on the line, neither of us will want to lose, but one of us is going to have to leave the ring a beaten man and it’s not going to be me,”

“We’ve sparred, yes, but that’s just sparring, when it will count for real is on the 26th July, that’s when it really matters,”

“I’ve taken myself off to Las Vegas for the best sparring possible for this fight because there’s no way I’m losing this one.”

The addition of Brough v Catterall for the Vacant Southern Area Light-Welterweight Championship brings the number of title fights to six on the show.  Chisora v Fury for the European and Vacant British Heavyweight title and Final Eliminator for the WBO World title headlines the card with chief-support Billy Joe Saunders challenging Emanuele Blandamura for the Vacant European Middleweight Championship; Liam Smith defends his British Light-Middleweight title against Navid Mansouri; Derry Mathews defends his British Lightweight title against Terry Flanagan; Liam Walsh will challenge for the British Super-Featherweight Championship, plus an action-packed undercard.

Tickets are available now, priced from £50, through Eventim on 0844 249 1000 or eventim.co.uk
