British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora has vowed to meet the winner of the November eliminator between David Price and John McDermott after he retains his belts against Tyson Fury later this month. The 27 year-old is planning for five years at the top of the heavyweight tree and believes his fight with the undefeated Mancunian at Wembley Arena on the 23rd is just the start, with a potential bout with Wladimir Klitschko on the horizon.

“I am the No.1 in Britain and I want to be at the top for another five years and nobody is going to push me off this throne,” Chisora told The Daily Star.

“I can’t wait to get in there with Tyson. It will be a good fight.

“Once I get through with him, then I want to meet the likes of David Price and John McDermott before I go on for the world title.”

Fury, 23, faces a British Boxing Board of Control slap on the wrists following his media conference call outburst in which he threatened to ‘kill’ Chisora in the ring if he had to. The Finchley has not let that phase him though and is continuing on his plan starting with taking away Fury’s perfect 14-0 record.

“Everything is on the line against Fury. We are both unbeaten and the winner goes on to better things.

“But the one thing I have that he doesn’t is skills – and that’s going to be the big difference on the night, believe me,” added the two-belt champion.
