As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, Puerto Rico's former champion Eric Morel (46-3, 23KOs) could be the next opponent for the bantamweight world champion of the World Boxing Association, Panamanian fighter Anselmo 'Chemito' Moreno (32-1, 11KOs). Moreno's spokesperson and wife, Rouss Laguna, says the fight could happen in March in Los Angeles, California, and not April in New York. She says Moreno will begin training on January 2nd for the tenth defense of his title. Moreno returns from successfully defending his title for the ninth time against former world champion Vic Darchinyan, which took place on December 3 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
