Chemito Moreno Seeking $1.2 Million From Ex-Manager

By Jhonny Gonzalez

WBA bantamweight champion Anselmo "Chemito" Moreno is pushing further with his ongoing legal battle with ex-champion Roberto Grimaldo. The champion has filed a claim for $1,250,000 million, claiming the manager damaged his career with several business decisions. Moreno recently received permission from the court in Panama to continue fighting without securing permission from Grimaldo or having the manager involved. Their managerial contract, which runs until 2015, has been frozen by the court until the legal battle is resolved.
