According to sources in Panama, Anselmo "Chemito" Moreno is looking very sharp in training camp. The boxer is shedding off the pounds for his next fight. The goal of world bantamweight champion of the World Boxing Association (WBA), is to make the weight of 130 pounds by Friday. Chemito prepares for the eighth defense of his title against Venezuelan Lorenzo Parra on the 17th of June at the Roberto Duran Arena in Panama. Rouss Laguna, a team spokesman, said the boxer had already squeezed down to 135 and aims for 130 before the weekend.

Moreno is getting up at 5:30 am for his morning runs and duplicates the same run in the afternoon. Between the road work, he joins trainer Celso Chávez in the gym for additional hard work. Moreno began sparring, going three rounds and then working the mitts, the heavybag, and going through numerous other exercises.
