Chemito Moreno-De La Mora Getting Close, Says Lozada

By Miguel Rivera

According to Antonio Lozada of Baja Boxing, a deal is getting close for Mexico's David De La Mora (24-1, 17KOs) to face the bantamweight champion of the World Boxing Association (WBA), Anselmo "Chemito" Moreno (32-1-1, 11 KOs) of Panama. The bout will likely take place on April 21 in Mexico, as part of the Abner Mares-Eric Morel undercard - but Lozada is waiting to receive full confirmation of that date.

"We still can not announce anything, but I can say that we are well advanced in negotiations for the fight," Lozada said.
