Anselmo "Chemito" Moreno (31-1, 11KOs) has returned to the gym and began training for his next fight. Moreno, weighing 142-pounds, spent two hours doing exercises at the Rockero Alcazar Gym in Panama. Moreno is waiting for the WBA to issue a ruling on his title status. The organization issued a recent order that stripped Moreno of his WBA bantamweight title and made him a "champion in recess." The WBA is willing to restore Moreno's status - when he resolves an ongoing legal dispute with his manager Roberto Grimaldo. Moreno's legal team is attempting to get the WBA to overturn their ruling.
