Chemito Moreno Accepts Offer To Face Eric Morel, 10/15

WBA  bantamweight super champion Anselmo “Chemito” Moreno returned today to Pedro Alcazar Gym in Curundu, Panama, for the first time after his last title defense  against Lorenzo Parra on June 17.

Despite Moreno started a legal battle against his manager Dr.Roberto Grimaldo weeks ago, he decided to keep training with Celso Chavez who is a very close friend of Grimaldo and prepares all of his fighters from many years ago. “I never considered to part ways with Celso who has always been a very important contributor to my success” said Moreno, who weighed in at 140 pounds after his month and a half vacation time.

“The judge let me negotiate my fights and sign contracts while a final decision is taken, so I decided to accept an offer to face Eric Morel on October 15” added Moreno.

"Chemito uses to start preparation weighing 145 to 148 pounds si I´m pleased about his current weight" said Chavez.

Damn so quick to sign a fight after his name was mentioned as a possible Donaire opponent. I bet he was offered peanuts compared to what he might have gotten vs Donaire.
