Chavez Sr. To Be Honored at Segrua vs. Calderon Rematch

On April 2, the legendary boxer Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. will be honored by the Boxing Commission of Mexicali. The tribute will take place prior to the junior flyweight rematch between Giovani Segura and Ivan Calderon. Chavez will be recognized as being the best pound for pound champion in Mexican boxing history. He will also receive an award for his entry into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in Canastota, New York.
