BoxingScene.com has been advised that a total of five fights will be featured as part of the HBO pay-per-view portion of the Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs. Sergio Martinez event, taking place the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas on September 15th. In the fourth pay-per-view fight, Rocky Martinez (25-1-1, 16KOs) will take on Miguel Beltran Jr. (27-1, 17KOs) in a WBO super featherweight title match, for the title vacated by Adrien Broner.
Instead of the tradional three fight pay-per-view undercard, four fights will accompany the Chavez-Martinez main event. Unbeaten light heavyweight Mike Lee (10-0, 6KOs) will open things up in a six round fight against an opponent to be determined.
In the other pay-per-view fights, Guillermo Rigondeaux will defend his WBA bantamweight title against Robert Marroquin, and and Matthew Macklin will face former junior middleweight champion Joachim Alcine.
