By Rick Reeno According to the Nevada State Athletic Commission, WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (46-0-1, 32KOs) is receiving a purse of $3 million dollars for this Saturday's defense against Sergio Martinez (49-2-2, 28KOs), who grabs a career high $1.4 million. Both fighters are sure to earn additional revenue from the purchases of their HBO pay-per-view. The fight takes place at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
