BoxingScene.com has learned that WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (45-0-1, 31KOs) will begin training in Las Vegas on Monday. The Mexican fighter completed the first part of his training camp in his hometown of Culiacan, as he continues to work hard for the upcoming defense against Andy Lee (28-1, 20KOs) on the 16th of June in El Paso, Texas.

Chavez will be traveling to Vegas with assistant coach Vladimir Baldenebro. He will train in Vegas until the arrival of trainer Freddie Roach and conditioning coach Alex Ariza. Roach and Ariza will arrive in Vegas in the coming weeks for Manny Pacquiao's welterweight title defense against Tim Bradley, scheduled for June 9th at the MGM Grand.
