| Chad Dawson vs. Jean Pascal Rematch in The Works?

By Ryan Burton BoxingScene.com has been advised by multiple sources that there is interest in a rematch between WBC light heavyweight champion Chad Dawson (31-2) and Jean Pascal (26-2). The two fighters squared off on August 14, 2010 with Pascal winning the fight via technical decision. Pascal started fast and took an early lead, but Dawson was coming on late in the fight when the doctor stopped the fight due to a cut that Dawson sustained from an accidental clash of heads. Pascal hasn't fought since losing his title to Bernard Hopkins in May, 2011. He was supposed to face IBF light heavyweight champion Tavoris Cloud in August but suffered an injury in training camp. The fight hasn't been rescheduled due to a lack of available dates on Showtime. Dawson dropped down to 168 pounds in September when he faced super middleweight king Andre Ward and lost by knockout in the 10th round. davis40; So what, he weighed 175 competitively as an Olympic Champ whats the difference for him? He fought his first 5 or 6 pro fights at 175+!!!
My point is simply that Dawson and Pascal don't leave it all in the ring, they're boring and cautious to a fault! Against top notch LtHvys they'd get... |

This is a fight I'd like to see... I reckon Pascal would be the favourite despite not fighting for a while.... |

Dawson should take a year off. Otherwise he could get KO'd again.
And no I'm not joking, he took some punishment against Ward and should allow his body to rest. Don't want to pull a Roy Jones. |

Pascal is damaged goods - he has not fought since the back 2 back ass whoopings the old man put on him. Not sure where chad is, heard he got hurt pretty bad in sparring with Miranda for the Ward fight, and Ward kinda took his soul in that fight - See what people have to realize is that these guys... |

Get this fight done the first fight was pretty good . I feel Dawson is going to beat Pascal this time around winner should fight Cloud next. |
