Cesar Seda Wins Wide, Jose Pedraza Dominates

PONCE, PUERTO RICO - A delirious crowd of more than 3,000 people watched seven exciting fights on the card "Under Fire" at the Auditorio Juan "Pachin" Vicens in Ponce.

In the main event Cesar Seda, Jr. (21-1, 15KO's) won a ten round unanimous decision over Jose Silveira. All three judges scores it 100-90. Seda was in full control, using his lateral movement and connecting with heavy combinations to the face and liver of Silveira. The fight was fought at a catch-weight of 120-pounds, which is the first fight for Seda above 115.

"I feel good. This was a good fight for me because I stayed active and worked for ten rounds with a strong opponent. Now, the next step is to follow the path that leads me to become a world champion at 115-pounds. I'm ready for big challenges," said Seda, who is promoted by Gary Shaw Productions and Universal Promotions.

In the co-feature, super featherweight prospect José "Sniper" Pedraza (4-0, 3 KOs) won a dominating six round unanimous decision over Yauco Pedro Salcedo, who drops to (4-4, 2KO's). The judges all scored it 60-54. Pedraza was always on the attack, with combinations to the head and the body, and avoided his opponent's failed attempts to fire back in return.

"I'm very happy with this achievement. Thank God for the victories we get in professional boxing. Salcedo was a strong opponent who showed his stuff and worked hard. This fight was great for me because I worked for six rounds for the first time. That experience helps me for future fights, "said Jose Pedraza who is promoted in a partnership by Universal Promotions, Gary Shaw Productions and DiBella Entertainment.

The even was promoted by Universal Promotions and Gary Shaw Productions.
