Cesar Seda Focused on Landing Omar Narvaez Showdown

By Jhonny Gonzalez

Unbeaten super flyweight Cesar Seda Jr. (20-0, 15KOs) is very focused on facing the WBO champion Omar Narvaez (33-0, 19KOs) next. Seda is the mandatory challenger to Narvarez' title. Seda is squeezing down to the division's weight limit. He plans to stick around for one more year to get the fight with Narvaez.

"I'm very focused on my job. My promoters (Gary Shaw and Universal Promotions) are negotiating for my next fight to be for a world title. I want to fight for the championship. What I want is an opportunity for people to see that I have the talent. I'm number one and I'm the mandatory challenger to Narváez. Although it is a sacrifice to make 115 pounds, I will stay here for one more year before moving up," Seda told Carlos Gonzalez.
