Panamanian featherweight fighter Celestino "Pelenchín" Caballero (36-5, 23KOs) still has nothing on the upcoming agenda, as far as boxing is concerned, but he does have a great goal on his list of things to do. The former world champion is hungry to capture the World Boxing Council (WBC) crown. Caballero lost a split decision, on April 20th in Panama, when he fought Mexico's Robinson Castellanos for the vacant WBC silver featherweight title.
"I wish God would give me the opportunity to get another world title again. The one I want is the WBC. I'm 37 years old. I've been in 14 world title fights. I realize that my retirement is near. I only I ask God to guide me to a point where I realize the moment when my boxing days are gone, but so far that date is not here," Caballero said.
