Celestino "Pelenchín" Caballero (35-4, 23KOs) has started his camp in Las Vegas with trainer Jeff Mayweather, as he prepares to defend his WBA "regular" featherweight title for the first time against Japan's Satoshi Hosono (25-1, 15KOs) on the 31st of December at the Bunka Gym in Yokohama, Japan. In mid-December, Caballero plans to travel over to Japan to get his body used to the time-difference and the climate. He likely won't return home to Panama until January 2012.

"We're in Las Vegas working for what's coming up. It will not be an easy fight, but I'll be ready to defend my crown," Caballero said.
