Sampson Boxing placed in the winning purse bid to secure the rights to the IBF super bantamweight title clash between champion Katy Wilson Castillo (18-1, 11KOs) of the Dominican Repblic and mandatory challenger Chantall Martinez (18-6, 7KOs) of Panama. There was only one bidder, Sampson Boxing, and the amount placed down was $11,000. Sampson has 90 days to put the fight on. In her last fight, Martinez lost a ten round decision to WBC champion Alicia Ashley in April of this year. Castillo fought in May, retaining her title with a seven round stoppage of Zenny Sotomayor.
