WBC silver featherweight champion, Robinson "Robin" Castellanos (19-9, 12KOs) is dedicating his upcoming fight to the memory of former WBC President Jose Sulaiman.

Robin had no difficulty in making the pre-weighin seven days prior to his defense to held on February 15th.

In his hometown of Guanajuato where he trains full steam ahead of his fight with the Nicaraguan Renι "Twin" Alvarado, Castellanos said:

"I want a big win in Puerto Vallarta to pursuit my aspirations of conquering the absolute WBC world championship against the actual champion Johnny Gonzalez.”

"Alvarado is a strong opponent, who won two consecutive fights by knockout, but he shall not stop me. I have a goal and always keep my goals. Now I have the promise of the World Boxing Council to finally have the chance and I will not let go. I dedicate this fight to the memory of Don Jose Sulaiman , who recently passed away."
