| Carlos Takam Likely Retires Francois Botha With TKO
|
|
Gymnase Richepin, Noisy-le-Grand, France - 2004 Olympian Carlos Takam (25-1, 20 KOs), 31-years-old, likely retired 43-year-old former heavyweight champion Francois “The White Buffalo” Botha (48-7-3, 29 KOs) with an eleven round stoppage. Takam wins his seventh fight in a row [six by knockout] since dropping an eight round decision to Gregory Tony in 2009, while Botha gets knocked out for the third time in his last four fights. Botha was pondering retirement after getting knocked out by Michael Grant last November, but this likely sealed the deal. Tags: Francois Botha , Carlos Takam |
