Carlos Molina-Allan Conyers Replaces Cayo-Peterson

By Rick Reeno

BoxingScene.com was advised by promoter Leon Margules, that next Friday's card at the Cosmopolitan Report and Casino has a new main event. Junior middleweight Carlos Molina (17-4-2, 5KOs), coming off a recent controvserial draw with Erislandy Lara, will face Allan Conyers, who battered previously undefeated James De La Rosa in January. The Las Vegas card will be televised on ESPN's Friday Night Fights series. The original main event was junior welterweight bout between Victor Cayo and Lamont Peterson, but Cayo withdrew with an injury.

This is a good fight. Conyers is coming off a pretty good performance against De La Rosa.
