Carl Froch Warns Mikkel Kessler: Don't Be Too Brave

By Jack Wilson, courtesy of The Daily Star

CARL FROCH says he is turning up to fight Mikkel Kessler in the best possible shape - and roared: "I'm absolutely sparking!"

Nottingham beast Froch weighed in at 11stone 13lbs this afternoon, while Kessler tipped the scales at 11stone 12lbs.

After the pair exchanged heated words at the weigh in, Froch said: "There was a few words said, words between warriors.

"We talked about the first fight and what to expect tomorrow.

"I'm turning up in the best possible shape but I know what I need to bring tomorrow.

"He shouldn't be too brave, he's in for a shock. I'm absolutely sparking and I can't wait.

"I don't crack under pressure. This is what I do and I'm relishing the occasion."

The pair will meet in an explosive unfication battle at London's O2 Arena tomorrow.

Great Dane Kessler added: ""I like Carl because he wants to fight, but I want to fight too.

"I'm ready for 12 rounds. I've done everything right, I know I'm going to win."

Hey Froch. All you can do is even the series at best. Quit talking like you won the previous fight, and just show up focused and ready to bang. Good luck!

I must repeat myself: Is there any chance whatsoever that these two "sparking" athletes be submitted to a PED test of some sort?

Cannot wait for this fight now. My heart is saying Froch but it really could go either way, depends if Kessler is the Kessler of old. Either way its going to be a great fight. Ward may be the best…
