Cano Breaks His Finger, Withdraws From Lopez Fight

Pablo Cesar Cano (27-4-1, 20KOs) has withdrawn from his scheduled return on August 30 in the Arena Oasis in Cancun. The show is being promoted by Golden Boy Promotions in association with Pepe Gomez of Cancun Boxing.  Cano, 24, was set to fight Juan Pablo 'Cheche' Lopez (25-3, 21KOs) in agreed to at welterweight. After feeling pain and getting an x-ray, a crack was discovered in his pink finger of his left hand. The doctor advised him to stay off the hand for at least ten days and it was placed in a splint.
