The stage is nearly set. After spending six weeks of training camp on California soil, unbeaten WBC 154-pound champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (41-0-1, 30KOs), and members of his team, are hitting San Antonio, Texas, the location of Saturday's unification battle with fellow unbeate, WBA junior middleweight champion Austin Trout (26-0, 14KOs).

Alvarez will face Trout at the majestic Alamodome, where legends like Oscar De La Hoya, Julio Cesar Chavez, Manny Pacquiao, Marco Antonio Barrera and Azumah Nelson saw action.

Canelo's trainer kept it short and sweet when asked for his prediction on the final outcome.

"We're going to knock him out," said coach Edison Reynoso,.

Ramiro Gonzalez, an official spokesman for Golden Boy Promotions, says a massive crowd is expected.

"we have a scheduled attendance of approximately 38 to 40 thousand people at the Alamodome. We are talking about purchased tickets here. Right now we are talking about 40,000 seats, which is what the Alamodome was configured for. The venue will look full and the event would represent a modern record for having actually sold that many tickets," Gonzalez said.
