WBC/WBA junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (42-0-1, 30KOs) has promised to stay calm and focused when he faces pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr. (44-0, 26KOs) on September 14th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

“The key is to avoid becoming desperate. I've been looking forward for this  fight for so long, I’m going to train very hard and become used to his style. Floyd is a very fast boxer, very smart who knows how to counter, but he’s not a fighter who punches a lot. He gets within range to throw one or two punches, steps to the side and moves away. We plan to do a great job in camp, as we've done in all of our fights, and obviously we are going to win," Canelo said.
