Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (45-1-1, 32KOs) is not concerning with some of the recent criticisms being voiced on social media.

Canelo is training for his scheduled fight with WBC champion Miguel Cotto (40-4, 33KOs) of Puerto Rico on November 21 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. HBO Pay-Per-View will carry the bout. The fight is taking place at a catch-weight of 155-pounds.

The winner of Cotto-Canelo has been ordered to make a mandatory defense against IBO/WBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (34-0, 31KOs).

Canelo received some backlash on social media, after stating that he won't fight Golovkin unless a catch-weight of 155-pounds is accepted.

Other fans are upset that a middleweight title fight is being contested at 155, which is one pound higher than the junior middleweight limit.

Canelo is not bothered by negative comments. The critics further motivate him to get in the ring and work even hard.

"[Critics saying things about you is] something that is natural, something that will always exist even if you're the best. It is part of this business. Criticism is just something that occurs. I do not really care [about what the critics are saying]. I don't even begin to start thinking about that. All of this for me is motivation. I will keep giving my best in each fight, and focus on being satisfied with myself, with my career, and that's what motivates me," Canelo said.
