WBC junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (42-1-1, 30KOs) is preparing for a tough night. He expects Alfredo "El Perro" Angulo to immediately charge with knockout intentions on March 8th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Angulo has pledged to bring the fight Canelo, by throwing a high volume arsenal of power punch combinations from the very first bell. Angulo (22-3, 18KOs) is skeptical that Canelo can deal with the pressure of a hard punching junior middleweight.

"Angulo is going to be a tough fight. I expect him to come out, in the first round, throwing a lot of punches, as he's done in many other fights. I think he will [pursue] the knockout [because he can't outbox me]. He is very dangerous with a lot of knockouts on his record. We have two different styles, but there will be a lot of action that night. I'm going to fight my fight, be smart in the ring, use movement and use my defense, because Angulo can change the course of the fight with a single punch. Angulo is a strong fighter, he is very resilient and takes a good punch, so we have to be prepared for twelve hard rounds," Canelo said

"...use movement" WTF this is false advertisement then. The card is labeled "Toe to Toe". Definitely not paying for it unless he does that with Angulo. :D

Angulo is going to test Canelo and thoroughly. We will really see where he's at. Respect to Canelo for taking this fight because Angulo is going to want to knock his head off.

You speak the truth!
Canelo says he will box smart and use his movement? Canelo said he would not fight Lara because all he does is run. So Lara can't run but Canelo can't? Hypocrite.
Now he (Alvarez) wants to box??? But he wanted to slug with Mayweather, & pound out small Joseisto?? Man...
