WBC middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (46-1-1, 32KOs) is not ready to confirm whether he'll remain in the junior middleweight division or make the full move to middleweight.

WBA/IBO/IBF champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (34-0, 31KOs) is the mandatory challenger to the WBC belt, but there is not guarantee that he'll get a shot with the Mexican superstar.

When he was pressed for an answer on whether or not he would stay at middleweight or return to junior middleweight, Canelo stated - "Right now I just want to rest. I'll eventually sit down with my team and discuss what we're going to do. So we'll see, but right now I'm just going to rest and spend time with my family."

Canelo's last four fights, including the bout with Cotto, took place at 155-pounds - one pound north of the junior middleweight limit.

The fighter, along with his handlers, have made it clear that Golovkin would have to meet them at 155.

If the WBC sticks to the guidelines or their order, Canelo will have to make a decision sooner than later.
