Featherweights Celestino Cabellero (36-4, 23KOs), WBC # 1, and Viorel Simion (16-0, 7KOs), WBC # 3, will reportedly square off sometime in March in Panama City in a final WBC eliminator for the chance to challenge champion Daniel Ponce De Leon, who defends the crown against unbeaten Jayson Velez on March 2.
Also on the bill is junior lightweight Zapir Rasulov (25-0, 23KOs) in a IBO I/C fight. Rasulov, who has a flashy record but has never fought anybody of note, has been training under Francesco Arroyo and is said to have made great progress.
