Celestino "Pelenchín" Caballaro celebrated his 35th birthday at the gym "Maco" Arboleda by continuing to prepare for his upcoming fight for the featherweight crown of the World Boxing Association (WBA), which takes place on July 2 in Mendoza against Argentine champion Jonathan Victor Barros. Under the supervision of trainer Jeff Mayweather, Caballero is close to the featherweight limit and he is expected to travel this weekend to Argentina.

The fight was originally scheduled to take place on Saturday, but had the promoter was forced to postpone the event after weather conditions prevented Caballero from being able to take a plane to Argentina.

"We're fine, we're at the weight and in shape for this fight. My intention is to win the crown by any means possible," said Caballero.
