| Caballero-Barros Possibly Heading To The United States?

By Jhonny Gonzalez The handlers of the WBA "regular" world featherweight champion Jonathan Victor Barros (32-1, 18KOs), of Argentina, have yet to submit their counter-offer to the team of Celestino Caballero (34-3, 23KOs). Rogelio Espino, Caballero's legal adviser, said he expects to hear something this week - or next week he will ask the World Boxing Association (WBA) to order a purse bid. It's being reported in Panama that Caballero's promoter, Lou DiBella, reached out to the handlers of Barros. He wants to stage Caballero-Barros in the United States.
