Former WBC/IBF light heavyweight champion Chad Dawson (31-2) is slated to face dangerous puncher Adonis Stevenson (20-1) on June 8th in Montreal at the Bell Centre. The two fighters exchanged words at their recent press conference to announce the fight. I asked the 30-year-old American for his thoughts on facing Stevenson.

BoxingScene.com recently caught up with former light heavyweight champion Jean Pascal (27-2-1, 16KOs) to talk about his upcoming fight against former super middleweight champion Lucian Bute (31-1, 24KOs). Although both fighters were born in different countries, Montreal, Quebec serves as the home base for both men who consistently draw big crowds in the Canadian province. Pascal said he was very excited to finally be able to meet his rival in the ring. "This is going to be a nice fight. It's been like five years that I've been chasing Lucian Bute. I've been chasing him for the fans, not for me, because we can have two champions in town but we can only have one boss and I'm the boss. I am going to show the fans that I'm the man in my town," Pascal told BoxingScene.

One thing is for sure, there will be no tickets available when Canadian superstars Lucian Bute (31-1, 24KOs) and Jean Pascal (27-2-1, 16KOs) collide at the Bell Centre in Montreal on May 25th. Bute, one of the top names at super middleweight, is moving up the light heavyweight division to face Pascal. HBO will televise this match in the United States.

According to various sources in Canada, rising light heavyweight Eleider Alvarez (12-0, 8 KOs) could very well face Allan Green (32-4, 22 KOs) in a WBA eliminator on May 25th, as part of the Lucian Bute vs. Jean Pascal undercard at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. Green has a good track record in Canada and defeated two capable boxer in the country. In November 2011 he decisioned Sebastien Demers in Quebec, and then came back year later to stop Renan St-Juste in Montreal.
