Bruun Set To Make His Nordic Fight Night Debut, 2/1

Kasper Bruun (18-0-1, 4 KOs) is set to make his Nordic Fight Night debut on February 1st. The Danish light-welterweight will take on Michal Dufek (11-5-1, 7 KOs) at the Arena Nord in Frederikshavn.

‘’I am looking forward to boxing close to my hometown and in front of all the people who have supported me through the years,’’ said Bruun. ‘’I am training hard, and I plan to make the most of this chance to show Team Sauerland and Danish TV viewers what I am capable of. I know and understand that this is a big opportunity for me, and I plan to make the most of it.

‘’Of course, a lot of things can happen but I aim to entertain and give the spectators a good show. I was happy with my performance in my last fight this past November, despite a long layoff due to becoming a father for the first time, but I think I can be even better this time.”

Bruun joins an action-packed card that features pound-for-pound number one Cecilia Braekhus (23-0, 7 KOs) defending her WBA, WBO & WBC titles against Myriam Lamare (22-3, 10 KOs), Swedish light-heavyweight Erik Skoglund (18-0, 9 KOs) defending his EU title against Adasat Rodriguez (9-2-1, 6 KOs) and rising Danish stars Dennis Ceylan (9-0, 5 KOs) and Micki Nielsen (11-0, 9 KOs). Tickets are available at arenanord.dk.

They're mixing female professional fights in with mens events? Well I guess when I watch I'll just need a long toilet break for when they fight.
