Nathan Brough and Kieran Farrell are the latest names to join the line-up for ‘Rocky and the Betfair Prizefighters’ in the lightweight showdown on October 6 at Liverpool Olympia live on Sky Sports.

Liverpool’s unbeaten Brough joins fellow Scousers Derry Mathews, Stephen Jennings and Terry Needham in the third Prizefighter to be held at the Liverpool Olympia. Farrell claimed the Central Area title in June with a fifth round stoppage of Joe Elfidh and the Lancastrian will want to upset the hometown heroes along with Dewsbury’s former British super featherweight champion Gary Sykes and Halifax man Liam Patrick Walsh.

Just one spot remains available for the 26th edition of Matchroom Sport’s eight man, one night tournament, and promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed that a host of big names are hunting the final spot on the show.

“The line up for Rocky and Betfair Prizefighters just gets better and better,” said Hearn. “Nathan is a great local unbeaten talent and I've been really impressed with Kieran, who recently boxed on our Carl Froch show in May. The event will be an immediate sell out and we have around a dozen fighters vying for the final spot.”

On a bumper night of boxing on Merseyside, Rocky Fielding will challenge Wayne Reed for the Central Area super middleweight title. Fielding fights for his first title at the venue of his record breaking Prizefighter triumph in March 2011 when he became the Super Middleweight II champion and the first man to win Prizefighter with three KO wins. The 24 year old Merseysider takes on Sheffield’s Reid who has a score to settle with the venue after dropping a controversial split decision in his quarter-final with Joe Ainscough that same night. Reed, also 24, won the title on Saturday (July 20) with a fifth round stoppage of Yorkshire’s Alistair Warren at Hillsborough.
