KELL BROOK is set for a massive homecoming bout in Sheffield in the coming months before cashing in on a £5m pay day next summer.
The welterweight star claimed the IBF crown in California at the weekend with a stunning points win over American favourite Shawn Porter.
Brook, 28, is now expected to make a voluntary defense in December or January in Sheffield.
Promoter Eddie Hearn will draw up a list of opponents in the coming weeks.
Provided Brook comes through that unscathed, Hearn will then look to get his man the biggest pay day of his career worth around £5m.
Hearn will make an all-British clash with Amir Khan in an outdoor stadium the priority.
Khan is out next on December 6 although an opponent has not been confirmed.
The Bolton fighter is still hunting a clash with WBA and WBC king Floyd Mayweather and if he impresses in his December bout he could land that shot in May.
Hearn will then look for another big name for Brook to face with Timothy Bradley, Juan Manuel Marquez, Marcos Maidana and WBO champion Manny Pacquiao on the list.
Brook also wants a shot at Mayweather and the American is keen to face a British fighter to get a cut of the lucrative UK pay-per-view market.
Hearn added: "I don't think he is going to be a champion who will win a title in America and give it away in the first defense, because he's a quality fighter.
"And now he is going to be better because now he is going to believe.
"We are talking about Juan Manuel Marquez, Amir Khan and Floyd Mayweather [as opponents] now."
