UPDATE: Brook's promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed on Twitter that his boxer did indeed injure his foot and is currently receiving treatment. Hearn did not indicate if the injury is serious enough that his boxer needs to withdraw.

According to a report in UK outlet Daily Express , Kell Brook has suffered a foot injury in training and may withdraw from the rescheduled fight with IBF welterweight champion Devon Alexander, currently set for May 18th at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. The fight had already been postponed, twice, due to injuries. Originally it was set for January 19th, but Brook withdrew with an ankle injury. It was then set for February 23, but Alexander pulled out after hurting his bicep.

At the present, there has been no confirmation regarding the injury from Brook or his promoter, Eddie Hearn, or Alexander's promoter Golden Boy Promotions..

Alexander's the champ, find another opponet and move on. No one knows Brook anyway.

Screw both of these guys AND this fight. If anything, Brook needs this fight more than Alexander. Move these bums out of the way, and not allow them to ruin this lovely boxing schedule for the 3rd time.

Yeah...I am probably over the anticipation of seeing Kell Brook now. He can stay in the UK now. I was hoping he could be the one to finally rid us of Alexander from premium TV. Guess not
